Tech Support - Building Your Performer Website

As you build your brand as a performer, you may need a home on the internet without the censorship and attention span limitations of social media. A website helps you present yourself seriously to producers and festivals, but that doesn’t mean you have to hire a designer or developer to create one. Viola Vainglory has spent a decade building websites on a small budget (often without the luxury of a developer) in her muggle life at a non-profit. In this workshop, she’ll share the basics of how to build a website.

Nerdlesque 101: Build Acts with Glorious Purpose

Want to share your love for a character while taking off your clothes? In Nerdlesque 101, you’ll learn how to build a nerdlesque act, common pitfalls and secrets to success. From fan favorites to more obscure characters, this workshop will help you engage your audience.

Viola Vainglory has built her performance life on nerdlesque, from her first paid gig to festivals and cons. Examining motivation, music, movement and costuming, this workshop will give you a basic understanding of building nerdlesque acts from start to finish, as well as how to level up existing acts and mods for travel.

Costume Commissions

With a degree in theatre, Viola has been doing theatrical costume construction for nearly 20 years! She is currently accepting limited bookings for costume design and construction, as well as orders for small costume components like pasties, gauntlets and tulle boas.
