Viola Vainglory is a burlesque performer, producer and femcee in Nashville, Tenn.

With a background in theatre, Viola brings strong stage presence and audience connection to her acts with an emphasis on embodying all kinds of characters. A self-professed nerd, she’s got a deep love for nerdlesque, but she has a catalog that spans classic, conceptual and weird, as well. She’s been charming audiences since 2011 both in Nashville and further afield, dancing at festivals (Show-Me Burlesque, Nashville and Midwest Nerdlesque) and cons.

Today, Viola produces a weekly show at Sid Gold’s Request Room, co-produces Senectitude Burlesque, a touring show exclusively for performers 40 and up, and still gets to dance now and again when she’s not on the mic.  She’s Nashville’s Shakespeare of Shakin’ It!
